Here are a few of the projects we’re currently working on.

Waihi College F Block

Refurbishment of an existing 2 storey library block. Ground floor will become a mixture of classrooms and breakout spaces, while the first floor remains as a library space. Project includes a full interior refurbishment throughout including flooring, grid ceilings, gib linings and autex composition. Our scope also includes a building extension to house a new internal stairwell and accessible lift. The exterior works include some minor recladding works and all new aluminium joinery throughout.

Pak n Save Cameron Road Refurbishment

This Project includes Seismic Structural Strengthening (including Floors, Ceilings and Services), a New Click and Collect Area located in the Basement Carpark , New Front of Offices, a proposed extension to the Produce Area and refurbished Public Ablutions. A New Refrigeration System is also being installed by McAlpine Hussman. Construction is staged and in coordination with PNS Retail Operations. Much of the Seismic Strengthening Works are carried out outside of PNS Trading Hours being undertaken from late in the evening to early hours of the morning. Other Construction activities are carried out during normal working hours closely working with PNS to eliminate any trading disruptions.

Bay Endoscopy & Specialist Centre

This Specialist Medical Centre is located at 36 Burrows St, Tauranga. Site Clearance included the removal of an Existing Building and associated Civil Works. This Purpose-built building is a single storey timber and steel framed structure, with light-weight cladding and roof, supported on a raised concrete slab foundation with block foundation walls and large foundation beams. The building is located within a flood hazard and harbour inundation area where the FFL level is set above the flood level in accordance with E1 of the NZ building code. This Architecturally Designed Modern Medical Centre houses Consultation, Preop, Procedure and Recovery Rooms with a Main Reception, Offices and Ablutions. The Building is Fire Sprinklered, with Modern Electrical (incl CCTV and Security), Plumbing, HVAC and Medical Gas Services and fittings.

Fertility & Associates - Fitout

Fertility Associates are completing a fitout for their new Clinical Space at 46-48 Girven Road. The building was constructed in 2022 and is up to date with the building code compliance requirements at the time. The principal will be refitting the Level 2 to suit the requirements for a new Fertility Clinic. While the original tenant fitout will be demolished, essential services and core partitions will be retained.

Te Wharekura o Mauao - New Technology Block

Te Wharekura o Mauao (the Kura) is a Māori Medium Education provider for Year 7-13 students and is located in Bethlehem, Tauranga. Their teaching philosophies are based primarily on the Reo and tikanga of the three iwi and Mana Whenua of Tauranga Moana: Ngati Ranginui, Ngai Te Rangi and Ngati Pukenga. The Kura currently has 18 teaching spaces providing capacity for 248 students. This project is for an additional 6 teaching spaces which will provide capacity for 350 students. The additional teaching spaces are to be built as a new Block situated to the rear of the site and include general teaching areas as well as dedicated science and technology teaching areas. The new Block will allow teaching areas in the Hauhaenga Block to be reinstated to their original purpose as the Block is currently being used for technology teaching.

Te Kura o Matapihi Redevelopment

The Kura o Matapihi requires a new multi-purpose building, along with two new teaching spaces. This is a Design & Build project. The Redevelopment Works will comprise the construction of a new multi-purpose building, including two teaching spaces, multi-purpose/hall area, wet area/Kitchenette, storage, and resourcing areas. The project also includes the Interior Refurbishment of an existing 2 Teaching Space Block (Block A), Demolition of Block O, hard and soft landscaping around and to the new building.

Medical Centre Redevelopment, Grenada St

The commercial development of a new medical centre at 2-6 Grenada Street, Mt Maunganui. The site is currently developed and occupied by tenants operating a Medical Centre (Existing Building) that will remain in operation, until such time as the tenants can be relocated into the new development (New Building). Upon relocation of all tenants, the existing Medical Centre is to be demolished and turned into a car park area. This project will be carried out in 2 separable portions. Separable Portion A consists of the new building which includes but is not limited to Tenancy 1, 2, 3 and 5, shared kitchen, meeting area, shared toilets, main entry and associated common areas (including for access from the Temporary Car Parking and egress for fire). Separable Portion B relates to the demolition of the Existing Building and construction of car parks and landscaping.

Apartments & Retail Centre, Waihi Beach

This project comprises of 3 separate apartment blocks totalling 27 apartments and 11 retail units. Block A is a 940m2 2 storey block with 11x retail units on the ground floor and 11x 2 bed apartments above. Blocks B & C are identical, each block being 400m2 split into 8x 3 storey 3 bedroom apartments with a garage on the ground floor. Claddings are a mixture of precast, colorsteel and EZ panel.
