Tarawera High School – Teen Parent Unit

This project is to refurbish Tarawera High School’s old library to accommodate the school’s Teen Parent Unit (TPU).  The Teen Parent Unit is due for completion mid 2017.

 

Ohope Beach School

Marra was the successful tenderer for the Redevelopment of Ohope Beach School.  This project includes the construction of a new two-storey teaching block and substantial site civil works.

 

102-104 Spring Street

Marra is currently undergoing the interior refurbishment of the three story building at Spring Street, Tauranga.  This refurbishment includes the demolition of internal partitioning including toilets, ceilings and lighting, seismic strengthening of the building, upgrading the relative accessibility and fire protection, new toilets, ceilings and lighting.

 

1072 Haupapa Street Office Development

We are currently in the demolition stage for the new office development in Rotorua.  This project will consist of a total interior refurbishment.  A special key element of this project is the Abodo Tundra vertical shiplap weatherboard cladding to one face of the exterior.

Marra Construction are proud to be working alongside Marra Developments Ltd to construct the Nine Oaks Apartment Building.  The completed project will include 48 apartments, a combination of 2 and 3 storeys.  Due date for completion is August 2017.

We are in the final stage for the completion of the New ILE 4 Teaching Space block at Rotorua Intermediate. This build consists of a Ribraft foundation, light timber framing, with cedar weatherboard cladding and Eterpan.

 

Port of Tauranga – Kiwifruit Cool Store, No 1 Berth

Strand Solar Canopy

This is a small job in the heart of Tauranga’s CBD.  It comprises supply and fitment of a galvanized steel frame for mounting of solar panels and the replacement of louvre doors.
